The Best Art Classes for Beginning to Intermediate Artists
Classes are 60 minutes long, easy to follow, and cover a range of art techniques.
Participants will learn with peers and a trusted teacher in small groups in a virtual classroom.
RE-PURPOSED ART
Discover your inner artist in our live re-cycle art class. These lessons will include guided instruction on the techniques and challenges of transforming trash into art. Participants will be offered the chance to share their work at the end of the session. Open to all skill levels and ages.
PAPER ART
Explore the materials, tools, and techniques used in paper art and origami as you create one of a kind artwork. Playing with paper is a great way to spark your creativity and explore new ways to create artful expressions. These lessons are ideal for both non-artists and experienced creators. And lessons are tailored for small hands and experienced adults.
Hi! I’m Ms. Colette Moorehead and Create with Colida is my virtual art classroom
Welcome to Create with Colida!
Colida is my nickname, and it was given to me by my Mom and delivering nurse at birth. Colida also represents the joy and love that I have for Art, which developed at young age when designing clothes for my paper dolls. Years later, after graduating from AM&N (now known as the University of Arkansas Pine Bluff or UAPB), I decided to take my brush and palette to the classroom to introduce students to the world of watercolors and teach them to draw with perspective. I have more than 29 years of teaching Art and Gifted & Talented Education (GATE). As a certified GATE and Visual Arts Specialist, I have experience and expertise in helping students to exercise their creative intelligence through projects that will improve student performance across all academic subjects.
